Pact Viet Nam announces the Call for Concept Applications for the Request for Applications (RFA) #09-00-003:
 
 “Increasing Access to Comprehensive HIV Care and Support Services for People Living with HIV/AIDS and Children Orphaned or Made Vulnerable by HIV/AIDS”
 
The goal of the program is to increase adult and child access to community/home-based care and support and ensure close linkages to existing HIV clinical care and other social support services. The program aims to contribute to an HIV free generation in Viet Nam while enhancing duration and quality of life of people living with HIV (PLHIV) and orphans and vulnerable children (OVC) affected or infected by HIV/AIDS by expanding coverage of comprehensive, quality services that provide care and support. It aims for interventions based on international and national evidence of best practices and existing knowledge of needs and gaps in the care and support for PLHIV/OVC response.
 
It is anticipated that 2-3 grants will be awarded, with value ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 per grant. Only applicants who submit proposals for funding of up to $75,000 to be budgeted over an eleven month period will be considered.

Pact Viet Nam announces the Request for Applications (RFA) #09-00-002:

"Reducing Mortality and Morbidity due to HIV among the Next Generation of Infants and their Parents: A Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV Initiative"

The goal of the program is to assist the Government of Viet Nam in minimizing the number of children living with HIV while enhancing the duration and quality of life of HIV positive children and parents.  It aims for interventions based on international and national evidence of best practices and existing knowledge of needs and gaps in the Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT) response.

It is expected that one to two grants will be awarded, for a total funding amount of US $630,000.  Applications should include budgets of at least US $300,000.
