Pact in Asia is defined by programs with sustained impact in Cambodia, Mongolia and Myanmar Thailand, Kygyzstan, and Vietnam. Throughout Asia and Eurasia, as elsewhere, building
sustainable organizational and institutional capacity is central to Pact’s efforts. Program emphases span diverse development issues fundamental to national development.
Pact’s
microfinance program in Myanmar is the largest microfinance program in the country and ranks among the 50 largest worldwide. Pact programs also focus on
decentralization,
anticorruption,
literacy,
village banking,
rural media,
primary health care, and
HIV/AIDS prevention.
