Pact professionals are deeply committed to Pact's mission of building public and private institutions that give people an opportunity for fulfilled and rewarding lives. We look for bottom-up, demand-driven solutions, and try to cut through isolation and separateness in order to find the common good that unites us. At the heart of our work is the belief that access and opportunity are the best means to rebalancing the out-of-balanced world in which we live. People want to effect change, feel hope, and advance toward their highest aspirations.

As an international NGO we see ourselves as facilitators, mediators and bridge builders—not leading but accompanying our local partners. This impels us to seek high quality partnerships and to work through coalitions and alliances that enable us to extend the scope and reach of our development programs. We are particularly excited that increasingly we are able to play the role of connector, joining the efforts of government, business and civil society to solve complex social problems.

To move our vision and mission forward we depend on some very special people. You care deeply about the welfare of all people, embrace diversity and connectivity, are drawn to complexity, have risk and ambiguity tolerance, are technologically savvy, will fight for what you believe in, like to work hard, and never give up.
