Elections and Political Processes IQC

Pact is a subcontractor to the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) on this IQC, which runs through August 2010. The IQC is designed to support the process by which citizens choose/elect their leaders and participate in all levels of political decision-making, particularly within emerging democracies. Electoral and political process assistance activities encompass the following functional areas: (a) effective election administration; (b) participatory, transparent, and accountable political parties; (c) citizen participation in electoral and political processes; and (d) technical leadership in the field of electoral and political processes. Pact has yet to participate in any activities under this IQC.
