Min Chan Win

Min Chan Win is the managing director for Smart Power Myanmar, a platform managed by Pact that focuses on catalyzing economic growth in Myanmar by improving access to reliable energy and promoting the growth of the Distributed Renewable Electrification (DRE) market. Since December 2021, Min has served as the DRE Director for SPM, leading the development of pilot business cases and scalable interventions to enhance energy access in Myanmar. With over 20 years of experience in leading management roles, Min has made significant contributions to various local and international organizations. Previously, he played a crucial role as the country coordinator and advisor for the Private Financing Advisory Network, where he oversaw the expansion and maintenance of the network in Myanmar. In this capacity, he successfully bridged the gap between clean energy project entrepreneurs and private sector investors. Min has served as the managing director for EAM Myanmar and Myanmar Eco Solutions, where he focused on developing utility-scale, commercial and industrial solar power plans and providing sustainable energy access solutions to rural populations in Myanmar.
